Alice Nine Super Channel Alice9 ちゃんねる Nico Nico Douga March 29th, 2013 [2013-03-29]

Notes:
•
•  EXILE is a popular Japanese boy band. One of its members, Akira, also starred in the 2012 live action version of a popular cartoon "Great Teacher Onizuka" as the main role (teacher)
•
•  "Kinbaku Ikka" is the name of GOLDEN BOMBER's TV show
•
•  Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji are symbols that make up the Japanese writing system
•
•  "Alauno" (or "A La Uno") is the name of Panasonic's new high-tech toilet. Nao also talked about this toilet on "Alice9 Channel" dated March 15th, 2013 (yet to be subbed)
•
•  "THE BOSS" are a Korean boy band
•
•  The segment "I saw Alice Nine!" is a rip-off from a segment from the TV show "Downtown Deluxe"
•
•  "Jojo" here is used to mean "Jojo's Bizarre Adventure", a comic that Hiroto really likes
•
•  "Gatarou" or "Man Gatarou" is a cartoonist whose drawing style is odd and bizarre
•
•  "Tokyo (Shoes) Ryutsu Centre" is a massive shoe store in Tokyo
•
•  I think "BENJO sandals" are supposed to be sandals that are worn in the bathroom ("benjo"). Usually, a different pair of shoes are worn in the bathroom in Japanese households, but I don't know if it's still common today
•
•  At 1:01:32, Tora asks Hiroto if he made another spelling mistake, because wheels or "rollers"/ローラー is one syllable longer than the spelling of Lola/ローラ, a popular model and TV personality

Alice Nine Channel Alice9 ちゃんねる Nico Nico Douga January 18th, 2013 [2013-01-18] with Super Channel Subtitle & Translation

Notes:
•   "Febreze" is a brand of air-fresheners
•
•   "Napoli's" is an Italian restaurant chain
•
•   "Kouhaku" is an annual end-of-year show in which two teams of artists/musicians, separated by gender, compete against each other. It is considered an honour to be invited to perform at the show
•
•   When Saga talks about Nao telling dirty jokes and then getting told off by NHK (broadcaster), he is probably referring to an incident where DJ OZMA, a musician, put on a controversial performance and was then banned for life
•
•   "Senkou" is supposed to help them come up with answers because it means "a flash (of light, brilliance, etc)"
•
•   Nobita and Gian are characters from the comic / cartoon "Doraemon". Nobita is the protagonist and Gian is considered as the antagonist
•
•   I think Saga misunderstood the very last question, and thought it meant "borrow from" and not "lend to" because the words sound similar in Japanese
